Miami Swim Week ReCap 2019

Miami Swim Week Powered by The Society
July 12 & 13, 2019
The Nautilus Arlo hotel, South Beach

The Miami Heat may have been hot, but the fashions were even Hotter!
Miami Swim Week, powered by The Society, kicked off on Friday, July 12 with a pool side party, and a Fashion Show featuring designers:
GYV Me Body
Devanna Love Boutique
Trivera Swim wear
She’s Beat Boutique
WILD’N’Out Swimwear

GVY Me Body opened the show with bold prints and empowerment from women of all shapes and sizes. WILD’N’Out Swimwear closed the show brining that “Wild” spirit of all those in Miami!

Saturday’s Miami Swim Week shows were even hotter with temps reaching near 100! That didn’t stop anyone from celebrating their love of swim wear and jaw dropping models. Speaking of jaw dropping models, Designer Alain Fagnidi, brought the eye candy for the ladies to the runway! His all male model squad looked like an NFL team dripping in couture mens swim wear and accessorized by Fagnidi’s luxury bags!

Brazilian Designer, Silvia Ulson’s show, went up “In Smoke”, so to speak. A “Creature” front the trenches went down the runway shooting smoke creating the scene for Ulson’s breathtaking models and Army inspired swim wear line. Strong and powerful are just a couple words to describe her vision. She ended where celebrations took place on the red carpet where you could sip champagne from a ladies dress!

Shalaja Swim Wear brought that tropical vibe to the runway. Models in her designs walking on the bamboo covered walk way, made you forget the heat and appreciate her collection even more. The bold animal print and edgy design was one of our favorites!

Traveling all the way from Paris was the Nord Collection. Her whimsical and soft fashions, paired with her custom dainty foot jewelry, made for a feminine, yet sophisticated look down the runway. The twinkling lights above, added to the ambiance of her look. The softness was a nice touch from the typical, edgy looks seen during Miami Swim Week.

A crowd favorite, Pia Bolte, closed out Miami Swim Week with the debut of her swim wear line. She traveled all the way from Germany and took over South Beach with her strong models and edgy swim wear debut. Not a head was left unturned as her models graced the runway. Each swim wear was perfectly paired with eye popping accessories such as studded hats, stunner shades, and high boots. All during Miami Swim Week you could catch glimpses of her collection shooting editorials all over South Beach.

This Miami Swim Week, powered by The Society is one for the books! An unforgettable experience, filled with tons of talented designers, eye popping fashions, networking opportunities, and some of the hottest models that traveled from around the globe! Thank you everyone who made this experience possible and can’t wait to see you next time!

Next up, New York Fashion Week, September 5-8!!
